Authentic Standards
The questions are designed to reflect the style and level of challenge children are likely to encounter in 11 Plus maths and English tests provided by GL, FSCE (Future Stories) and Quest. They encourage children to apply their understanding, rather than simply recalling what they have learned.
The aim is to provide a realistic snapshot of current attainment, while also familiarising children with the types of questions they may encounter in the exam.

No Time Pressure
Unlike our timed mock tests, the diagnostic tests have no overall time limit. Children can take the time they need to think carefully and demonstrate their true level of understanding.
However, our system records the time spent on each section, providing additional insight into how confidently a topic was approached.
